How do you step from the top of a 100-foot pole?

By lack of confidence, not trusting who you are, where you come from, and where are you going, what you want to achieve, It’s good to have these thoughts about yourself in order to have direction in your life.

There are many circumstance and situations that life leads us to; it is ultimately up to us to make what we want in life. Everyday we say something and we do something about our life, in some basic way our lives are build on top of a 100 foot pole. We work, study, eat, spoil our selves and even destroy our life sometimes. Taking risks and sacrifice our lives to achieve something. This world is surrounded by us, the choices we make its what build and destroy the world. There is no gap between us the world we live in

Think about people who are successful, they were not born; they have their own ups and downs of this world, but where are they today. They have been criticized a lot, but they take all the negativity and use it as motivation. If you fall when you’ve been criticized you won’t survive. We all have to get used to the fact that we won’t always succeed the first time, the second time, or maybe even the third time –failure is apart of living and taking risks is a part of life.

You must be prepared that one day you will step up and step down.

We are what we do

That is true. We are what we do - this means our actions are very much integrated into who are. We live in the 21st century where you make your own choices and your decisions. We are what we do- describe the way we talk, eat and dress.

I think the legacy starts with what you have done, what you are planning to do and what you believe in. but most of all is our behavior that really define us, as human beings we tend to forget what  inspired us. It also depend on what people judge us, we do things to impress other people, and sometimes they don’t even notice. We eat lot of junk food everyday, but we get worried about gaining wait, we smoke, we drink, but we are worried about lung cancer. Everyone need to change, money, clothes, love can not satisfy us all the time.

We will all get chance to die, let’s not rush; some people will complement you and say you are dress to kill, but whom

We are what we do: Does our culture affect or change us? Sometimes we do things accordingly not because we want to, but we are forced to. All we want to do is to change the world, please don’t blame us for trying.

We are the people our parents warned us about

We come from different backgrounds, but we all have one red blood, because God is the only creator on earth. When God created us he never says we will think the same.

We are different, we think different simple because we were not born on the same day. When you grow your parents always warned you about things that can destroy your life completely, and yes we do listen, but when we get older we tend to forget everything. I’ve seen bad things happen to people when they at least expected them, my mom always says one mistake, and your life will change completely and you will never have a chance to undo it.

Example our parents warned us not to get involved with drugs, crime, they also warned us not to sleep around or engaging in sexual actives at young age, but what we always told them they are old fashioned and this is the 21st century, but the consequences are always comeback and hit us, unfortunately some things cannot be healed.  I love my parents, because they taught me everything that can destroy and build my life and they are my role models.

Your choice, your future, your life.

We are afraid of the wrong things.

We are afraid of the wrong things. Are we or pretend to be? Firstly we need to differentiate what is wrong and what is right. As humans we tend to be afraid of the wrong things, which have a control on the way we live. I’m also afraid of doing something wrong, because I know it will cost me for the rest my life.

We make mistakes, but do we learn from it? Well some of us do, some of us don’t even bother looking back all we do is to repeat them over and over. People change hairstyles everyday especially ladies in order to be noticed, by who? Is the same as getting done to go somewhere, but you end up changing your outfit so that you can look better. But for who?  We are so afraid what people are going to say or how will they judge us, but they barley notice, that is where we lose confidence in us.
Pressure put us at risk of pretending to be someone you not. We do things to please other people, doesn’t matter if it’s right or wrong. We smoke, we drink, but afraid of getting ill.

We are so afraid to die, why? Simple because we are doing things that God does not approve of and unfortunately we don’t know the date of death. There are people who say’s live your life to the fullest, but of whom?
Remember God gave us one chance to live, if you die you will never come back.

Bear in mind that you are the only person who can control your life, don’t be fooled by others and always remember you are the only person who can lock or unlock your life. You have the key to your success.

How you feel about being young

I can’t even begin to express how I feel about being young; sometimes I wish I could be 10 years younger. When people celebrate on 31 December, I get worried because I know I’m getting older now, I will no longer be 16 or less, not that I don’t want to get old it’s just that I get to experience more things in life as I grow up
I’m not ready to celebrate 50th birthday, in fact I don’t even think about that age, especially for now. I think to be surrounded by people who care and accept me for who I am. I love watching cartoons and holding lollipop that makes me feel younger. Knowing I still have a great sense of humor and love to laugh.

Dancing to music when no one is watching, feeling my hair bounce when I walk, having fun with friends and running to catch a train when I’m late, that is how feel about being young, because if you are old you can’t run like I do.

To be taught about what is right and what is wrong. The feeling that I need permission to do something. Being cared for when I’m sick. Watching my friends getting married.  Seeking special attention.
People used to call me Shorty, because I’m short, the other day one lady told I can’t open an account because I’m too young, that makes me feel even more younger.
I love everything about being young especially in this country.
